Welcome to Buhumuriro

Care that begins with listening.

Buhumuriro Counselling Centre was founded by Mrs. Kyarimpa Rose after her own experience with depression inspired a commitment to supporting others facing mental-health and life challenges.

Our community-based work brings together volunteers, counsellors, psychologists and social workers to offer psychosocial support and promote mental-health awareness.

  • A compassionate, respectful approach
  • Support for individuals, couples and families
  • Community and school awareness activities
  • Ways for volunteers and well-wishers to contribute
